Kangaroo Carry

This is a great carry for a newborn (though the video demo shows a much larger child). You can use a wrap size 3+ – the shorter wrap you will likely tie under bum, with a longer wrap you can wrap around and tie at back.

The Secure High Back Carry uses a size 4 or 5 wrap and is a good beginner back carry as you have a secure knot on the front as one of your first steps after creating a seat! There is a pre-tied chest belt with hip scoot option as well if you have difficulty getting baby on back/creating a seat, this is a good alternate method to try.

AKA – The Pirate Carry! You can likely do this with a size 3-5 woven wrap, depending on your size/size of the baby. This demo video shows many variations with 0-2 leg passes and reinforcement options, which can be great for those leg straighteners!
